finding members for a band...

Is it just me or are there like 1000000000 guitarist out there and 2 bass players and 1 drummer? seriously? I do understand when getting into the music most kids gravitate or are regularly put onto guitar which aint that bad, but consider this, we teach or introduce our kids to a variety to instruments let them listen to Sabbath or Dead or Lorde and appreciate every single aspect of music and maybe just maybe we can have a more diverse look at music and a better database of people who are skilled in different types if instruments 

The Glowing river?? Hoax???

So this strange phenomenon keeps popping up on facebookhttps://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10152269646051195&set=vb.336507736194&type=2&theater if you follow this link you will see footage of a man jumping into the river and it glows blue. my question is why is it glowing? is this due to some chemical being spilled into the river? is this some kind of alien being under there? should we call in Agent Moulder and Skully? what ever it is its weird..... so i just read its plankton thats glowing when disturbed... so its not aliens kinda wish it were.. :p

Nobody wants a Trini Rock band to make it in Trinidad

The Truth of the matter is we all in the so called "rock scene" in Trinidad an Tobago go unsung. Contrary to popular belief the problem is us! we are society, we keep ourselves back because of our inability to stand up and perform what we want to. It's not always about Orange Sky or any other band who doctored their art form to become palatable for Trini radio its about understanding what Rock n' Roll stands for!! We are the kids who were different, the kids who were picked on a bullied for being different, for having long hair for listening to so called "devil music". My teenage years wasn't the easiest due to my preference in music which fueled me to delve deeper into alt rock and grunge. I am 25 years old and I am a struggling musician working a day job like every other guy and trying to make it in a non existent scene or one that only includes those of a certain social class aka rich folk. Rock music in Trinidad remains the underdog in the music scene, lesser expressions like Soca and Chutney are awarded huge multi million dollar record deals and real music like my dear buddies who actually have bands struggle to even pay for studio time. Maybe Trinidad will never accept Rock n Roll as it is just like KFC we had to have it OUR way steups........ So I will not put rastaman vibes in my Rock n Roll, I will not put steel pan to seem patriotic, I will not us dialect to sound funny. I will Rock the F*ck out of it when I can and you can just suck on it if you don't like it!
